Centre Asks All Depts to Organise Free Covid Vaccination Camps at Workplaces
This center has asked all departments to hold Covid vaccination camps at the workplace to provide a dose of free precautions from vaccines to employees who meet the requirements and their family members. In an order, the Ministry of Personnel asked all departments to mention the number of employees who meet the requirements and their family members to be vaccinated with the dose of precautions, separately for both types of vaccines – Covishield and Covaxin – so as to ensure optimal use of resources.
As part of the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the new Indian government launched a new initiative of ‘Covid Amrit Mahotsav Vaccination’ to provide a dose of free preventive measures for all populations that meet the requirements of adults who have completed six months (or 26 weeks) from the date Giving from the second dose, he said.
This initiative will be carried out in the Covid-19 government vaccination centers for 75 days from July 15 to September 30, 2022, said the orders issued to all ministries/central government departments.
