Toronto: India carefully watched the growth of pro-khalistan movements in Canada mainly because it seems to have entered a new phase. The biggest concern is about increasing relations with organized criminal gangs operating in Canada and India.
Indian officials told The Hindustan Times that there were at least eight leading gang leaders who were present in Canada today and they seemed to direct the activities from here. The improvement between several radicals and gangsters based in Canada gave the first with “foot soldiers” in India, a luxury that they did not enjoy before, said an official.
While they did not determine the names of this gangster, they said they had been discussed in detail during the ongoing conversation between the Indian National Investigation Agency and the Mounted Police of the Kingdom of Canada.
Even more worrying for them is the reality of gangsters that emerged in Canada that secure relationships with Khalistan groups. Many of them, they said, met while in prison in India and joint troops. They can then direct the hit to the target in India, and even Canada, because of the great presence of the Indo-Canadian gang in the country.
There is no motive associated with the targeted murder against Ripudaman Singh Malik in Surrey, British Columbia, but seems to be a Gangland style hit. Malik was once accused of playing a role in the Bombing of India Kanishka Air flights in 1985, which claimed 329 lives. However, he was released from all accusations in this case. He was executed close to the place of business he was running in the city of Surrey in the Metro Vancouver area around 9.30 in the morning on July 14.
There has been speculation that his death can be associated with changes in his heart over Khalistan and the letter he wrote in January praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and others to the people who asked him to leave separatism. This case is still being investigated by the Canadian integrated murder investigation team.
Officials also refer to the killings of the singer and politician Punjabi Sidhu Moose Wala on May 29 this year in Punjab and how a leader of Geng Lawrence Bishnoi, took the 28 -year -old Singh alias Brar, it seems to be in Canada, taking the Satinderjeet Singh. Goldy Brar, in Canada, took, took the Satinderjeet Singh Goldy Brar, in Canada, take to social media to claim credit for the murder. While Brar faced many criminal charges in the Indian court, none of them were tested in Canada.
