The partnership of 18 economics, including India, the US and the European Union (EU), has launched a four-point road map to build a long-term supply chain, including steps to fight risks arising from supply dependence and vulnerability.
The Roadmap was described in a joint statement issued on Wednesday after the meeting of the Virtual Supply Minister for the US Secretary Antony Blinken and Trade Secretary Gina Raimondo. The meeting was a follow -up to the Supply Chain Summit organized by US President Joe Biden last October.
Roadmap to build a formidable supply chain is based on global principles of transparency, diversification, security and sustainability, according to the statement. “Building a long -term and long -term supply chain based on international partnerships is very important for the success of this effort,” the statement said.
The partners say they intend to “deepen our consultation to identify and overcome risks arising from supply dependence and vulnerability potential in critical infrastructure” to promote supply chain security.
