Social media was left varied on Wednesday after a video of US President Joe Biden who should say that he had cancer was distributed widely. He made a comment while giving a speech about the climate crisis and global warning in Somerset, Massachusetts. The statement initially looked quite relaxed where Biden blamed the emissions from the oil refinery near his childhood home for giving him and the people he raised with cancer.
However, social media users are quickly curious and want to know whether the US president does hide the diagnosis of cancer.
In the 23 second video, Biden talks about his mother who drove him and his siblings rather than making them walk as children, and wear windshield wiper “to literally the oil slippery from the window”.
That’s why I – and so many other people grow with me – have cancer and why for a long time, Delaware has the highest level of cancer in this country, “added the US President.
The White House quickly jumped in clarifying that Biden did not fight against cancer. Deputy Secretary of Press Andrew Bates retweeted a post by the head of the author and editor of Washington Post Glenn Kesler, who said that Biden had “non-melanoma skin cancer released” before he served. Kessler attached the US Presidential Medical Report 2021 to support his statement where Doctor Biden Dr. Kevin O’Conno noted that he was “suitable to succeed in carrying out the presidency”
This is what is meant by the president,” BATES wrote on Twitter by sharing the KESSler tweet.
